The village was formed in the end of Nineteenth century around 1880. One lady by name Smt.Konaganti Pochamma has come from Cherukumpalem in Guntur District to our area I.e Korlapadu village situated at bank of Paleru River, with 5 children for their livelihood. They have settled at Korlapdu village. Due to internal conflicts they have formed a separate village by name Kammavaaripalem and procured the entire land of Kammavaaripalem. Those lands were uncultivated and bheedu bhoomulu. Now that entire land has been cultivated. The village is built in the year 1914 May i.e Anandanama Samvatsaram Jesta Maasam as per the information available on the boddu raayi. These children have grown up and settled in this village with 5 Groups by names such as Kamma (Konaganti) Aadanna , Kamma (Konaganti) Venkanna, Kamma (Konaganti) Peda Kaapu, Kamma (Konaganti) Raamaswamy, Kamma (Konaganti) Peda Kotappa, Konaganti Surname has changed to Kamma over the years.All the present OC population in the village are the Inherit ants of the above 5 people. The other Surnames such as Bezawada , Balineni , Bhashyam , Raayapati, Pattipati have come to the village as Illarikam Son-in-Laws. To mark the centenary of our village in the year 2014 we have reinstated the boddu Raayi and celebration were held in the village.
